News sources have published that senator Ahmed Abubakar (MoAllah Idi) is the sole candidate for APC in Adamawa state. This may not be unconnected with their pack on the removal of Senate president Senator Bukola Saraki or as a giveback for their continued loyalty to the party. APC has anoited senators like Shehu Sani of Kaduna central, Goodwill Akpabio and Emmanuel Uduaghan among others as sole candidates. Senator Abubakar no doubt became one of most under estimated personalities in the politics of Adamawa State but today he is making great waves seeing that some strong contenders like Morris Vonobolki, Felix Tangwami and Ahmed Fons Nwangubi were push aside to level way for him.
