Is illegal: Buhari tells APC

On Tuesday March 27 the President Muhammadu Buhari stunned members of the APC and its leaders when he said that the purported tenure elongation was in error.  He said the decision of the National Executive Committee on February 28 which extended the tenure of members of National Working Committee (NWC) led by John Odigie-Oyegun by one year is illegal and has to be reviewed. I will run in 2019: Rev Binos Yaroe

A senatorial Candidate of Adamawa South during the 2015 general elections Rev Binos   Dauda Yaroe has declared his intention to re-contest for the Senate in the 2019 elections. Rev Yaroe made his intention known to the public during the annual Convention of Bonotem Diocese of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) at Ganye on Wednesday 22 nd March, 2018. Rev Binos said, “Many have asked the question of whether I will be contesting in 2019 for the senatorial seat, I have not said anything but today I want to tell you that by the grace of God I will contest again. I contested in the past and I did not win and I think it was not God’s time but now I will contest and if it is God’s time I win.” The Clergy man politician was very popular candidate during the 2015 elections for the people of Adamawa South, Binos lost in a very keenly contested polls. “No Tazarce” our collective shame

The surest way to lose it all is to try to pull down another by all means; usually the fall is heavy that it collapses on everything and everyone. How would that be? You may ask. When a people lose reputation it takes nothing to neglect them because recognition is based on reputation. The recent happenings around Ganye Chiefdom is a cause for concern to every well-meaning indigent of the land; irrespective of religion or even tribe because the chiefdom is fasting losing a virtue of following the elders. Now is becoming the other way like ducks and ducklings finding the way is taken over by the inexperienced young ones.   The worry is the way our youths have resorted to open disgrace and hate for political office holders or elected representatives.
